Clifford O. Feingold, discusses the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case that rocked the regulatory community in 2015 and continues to affect how licensing authorities operate today.
Dr. Feingold graduated from Duke University in 1971 with a BA degree in Chemistry. He then graduated from the Emory University School of Dentistry with the DDS degree. He has been involved in the dental licensure examination process since 1982. He has examined for the North Carolina Dental Board, CITA regional testing agency, and NERB (now CDCA) continuously to present.
Dr. Feingold has been President of his county dental society (1990). He was the team dentist for the Asheville Smoke Professional Hockey Team (1999-2002). He served as a member of the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners (2005-2008 and 2012-2018), and was President 2015-16. He has also been a member of the American Association of Dental Boards since 2005 and is currently serving as Secretary of the organization.
The American Association of Dental Boards is a national association that encourages the highest standards of dental education, promotes higher and uniform standards of qualifications for dental practitioners, and advocates uniform methods in the conduct, operation, and working of dental examining boards. AADB membership is comprised of boards of dentistry, specialty boards, present and past board members, board administrators and attorneys, and dental educators.
