LOS ANGELES, CA—October 29, 2020—Certemy, a leading provider of certification management software, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery to serve as its online certification platform. As part of this new partnership, Certemy will help the Board automate both its initial and Continuous Certification workflows, making these processes easier for both board staff and diplomates.
The Board will also participate in a pilot of Certemy’s licensure verification solution. The software solution, developed in partnership with the American Board of Medical Specialities (ABMS) and the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), reports the latest primary source licensure data for Board diplomates from the FSMB and automatically integrates the data into the continuous certification platform and process.
“We’re thrilled that the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery has chosen Certemy to automate their certification programs,” said Shawn Cantor, co-founder and COO of Certemy. “Partnering with ABMS Member Boards is a strategic priority for us as we expand the footprint of our certification management, CE management, compliance management, and primary source verification of licensure solutions for the healthcare profession.”
The American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery chose Certemy because they needed an affordable solution with both the flexibility to accommodate the board’s unique requirements and the ease of use to provide a great experience for its diplomates.
