Certemy Product Update

Enhancements for registry, attachmenys, and phase completions.

New Registry Customization Options

Admins can now customize the content and presentation of their public-facing registry.

New registry configuration options allow admins to:

  • Include a full name field that allows registry users to sort professionals by name.

  • Control which professional and credential fields are included in the registry.

  • Customize the display name for each included professional or credential field. This allows admins to use something other than the custom field name for the included field.

  • Customize the display order of included professional and credential fields.

  • Customize the display name for each credential status field. This allows admins to use something other than the system status name.

  • Toggle Group Results by Credential Acronym: This allows admins to show a single registry record for each unique combination of professional and credential acronym. In some cases where multiple workflows have been set up for the same credential acronym, multiple entries could exist in the registry. The default is No — meaning that the registry will continue to display multiple rows for the same credential acronym.

  • Toggle Exclude in Process Credentials: This allows admins to exclude professionals who have not yet completed a credential. The default setting is No — meaning that professionals with in-process credentials will be included in the registry.

  • Toggle Exclude Expired Credentials: This allows admins to exclude professionals with expired credentials. The default setting is No — meaning that professionals with expired credentials will be included.

  • Toggle Exclude Specific Professionals: Admins can now also exclude any individual professional from the registry by updating registry details on the professional’s user profile page. On that page, there is the option to privately view the professional’s registry entries if needed.

Attachments Now Available for Dynamic Form, Log, and Verification Steps

Admins may now create custom fields with a field type of Attachment and use them in dynamic form steps, log steps, and verification steps. This allows professionals or supervisors to upload documents when completing a form or log step. It also allows an admin or board staff user to upload documents when completing a verification step. Attachments on dynamic forms may also be mapped to custom organization fields that are of type “attachment.”

Phases Completions Now Available Without Automatic Certificate Generation

Admins can now create phases that do not automatically generate a credential certification when completed by a professional. In addition to not generating a certificate, credential expiration dates are not impacted. This allows organization admin users to create workflow phases that are separate from the core credentialing function but which form part of the overall credentialing workflow such that organizations may now be able to use the Certemy workflow engine for a broader set of activities.
