SaaS industry veterans join Certemy leadership team to drive expansion of cloud-based certification platform business
COSTA MESA—June 6, 2019—Certemy, provider of the #1 cloud-based certification platform for boards, associations, continuing education providers and employers, today announced the appointment of two new executives to its leadership team. Zorik Gordon has joined Certemy as CEO, and Shawn Cantor has joined as COO.
In his new role, Zorik Gordon will drive company strategy and execution for Certemy. Prior to Certemy, Zorik was founder and CEO of SERVIZ, a home services marketplace that was acquired by Porch in 2018. Prior to SERVIZ, Zorik was founder and CEO of ReachLocal, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLOC), a leading provider of digital marketing services to local businesses that was acquired by Gannett in 2016. Prior to ReachLocal, Zorik served as CEO for WorldWinner, a pioneer in skills based online games, and founder of Jackpot.com, which grew to become the Connexus Corporation, a leading online marketing company.
Shawn Cantor will lead sales, business development, marketing and customer service operations for Certemy. Prior to Certemy, Shawn was COO of WorkWave, a leading provider of field service management software that was acquired by IFS in 2017. Prior to WorkWave, Shawn was General Manager and Vice President of Sales for ReachLocal, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLOC). Prior to ReachLocal, Shawn was founder and CEO of Jac Media, a digital marketing agency that was acquired by ReachLocal in 2005.
